Senior Transport Planner Job in Bristol

Senior Transport Planner job available with an employee-owned multidisciplinary consultancy, based from their office in Bristol. The role is open to candidates who are either Senior or Principal-level Transport Planners looking for a new opportunity with a growing consultancy.

Founded 30 years ago, this multi-disciplinary consultancy operates nationwide with regional offices located in the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, South West, East Anglia, and London. With a current team of 70, their services cover town planning, architecture, master planning, landscape architecture, and heritage. The ideal location for this role is Bristol, however, it can also be based from their Nottingham or Sheffield locations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with Transport Assessments and Statements
  • Site Access and Appraisals
  • Travel plans and junction design
  • Report writing and analysis
  • Use of various software programs for analysis and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in Transport Planning, Town Planning, or similar
  • Previous consultancy or local authority experience
  • Experience using ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, Tempro, AutoCAD and Excel.
