Are you an experienced Transport Planning professional looking for your next challenge? Carrington West is working with a local authority seeking a Transport Development Planner to provide high-level technical expertise and support the team's Development Control work programme.
 
The Role
·Provide expert technical advice on transport and highway matters.
·Work collaboratively with planning, highways, structures, regeneration, and housing teams.
·Assess and manage planning applications, ensuring minimal impact on the public highway.
·Contribute to the development of sustainable transport solutions.
·Support the effective management of planning applications related to highways and transport.
About You
·Proven experience in Transport Development Management or a related field.
·Strong understanding of planning application processes and highway regulations.
·Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
·Ability to work independently at a professional level.
·Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
