Our client is looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in Bristol. Key Responsibilities
路Conducting transport assessments, travel plans, and feasibility studies for various development projects.
路Developing sustainable transport strategies, including public transport, cycling, and walking initiatives.
路Analyzing transport data and utilizing transport modeling software to inform project recommendations.
路Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet planning and regulatory requirements.
路Preparing technical reports and presenting findings to clients and stakeholders.
路Supporting senior planners and engineers in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
Key Requirements
路A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
路Relevant experience in transport planning or a similar role, preferably in consultancy or local authority settings.
路Proficiency in transport planning software such as TRICS, TEMPRO, or Junctions.
路Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
路Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
路Familiarity with UK transport planning policy and guidance, including the NPPF and Manual for Streets.
路Membership or working towards membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., CIHT, TPS, or ICE).
