Reed have partnered with a global travel business based in Bristol, recruiting for a Travel Consultant specialising in Southeast Asia on a full time, permanent basis.
This role involves crafting unforgettable cultural adventures for our clients to destinations like Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. Candidates must have extensive experience travelling, working, living, or selling these regions, ideally for a minimum of 12 months.
Essential destination knowledge of Malaysia, Borneo, Thailand, and India is required.
We’re looking for someone who is consultative, customer oriented and a passion for travel. The destination knowledge is key, sales training will be provided.
Salary: £25,517 - £27,072 dependent on experience
Commission: Year 1, OTE of £5,000, rising to £14,000 from year 3
Duties:
- Consult with customers to identify their individual holiday requirements.
- Create high-quality tailor-made itineraries based on customer requirements.
- Work to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Coordinate all aspects of the customer booking to ensure successful delivery of the trip.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service and/or sales experience.
- Extensive experience of living, working, travelling, or selling Southeast Asia, ideally for a minimum of 12 months.
- Essential knowledge of Malaysia, Borneo, Thailand, and India.
- Self-motivated with the determination to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Highly organized and productive; ability to manage a lot under pressure with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
