My client is an established provider of mechanical and electrical repairs based in Bristol. Due to ongoing demand, they are looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to carry repairs and diagnostics of customer vehicles. The successful candidate will be a competent vehicle mechanic who is confident working on petrol and diesel powered vehicles. You must also be based within commutable distance of Bristol.
Vehicle Mechanic Position Overview
- Carrying out diagnostics on a range of vehicles
- Performing road tests
- Servicing and mechanical repairs
- Ensuring parts are stocked
- Advising customers on repairs
- Workshop based position
- Working alone and within a team
Vehicle Mechanic Position Requirements
- 5 years experience working as a Vehicle Mechanic
- Level 3 qualification in Motor Mechanics. Level 2 also considered
- Diagnostics experience is beneficial
- Electrical checking experience beneficial
- EV experience beneficial
- UK Driving licence
- Based within commutable distance of Bristol
Vehicle Mechanic Position Remuneration
- Salary £30,000 - £34,000, rising to £35,000 after successful probation + annual bonus up to £2000
- Overtime available paid at 1.5x

- Hours Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30, no weekends
