A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Vehicle Technician at our client's franchise-approved car dealership in East Bristol.Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a friendly team in a modern fully equipped workshop, your key responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicle work per the brand's technical standards and within the budgeted time.
  • Examine vehicles and diagnose non-routine defects, or additional faults in the workshop or during road tests.
  • Achieve and maintain technical knowledge and skill set for diagnosing and servicing vehicles.
  • Utilise our client's facilities and processes to maximise your productivity on vehicles.
  • Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
  • Help our client achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency.
  • Attend regular training to update technical skills.
For this role, our client is flexible on experience. Whether you fall more on the PDI/prep side, diagnostics or MOT or perhaps are looking to build on your skill set and experience, they’d like to hear from you! To be eligible though, you must be qualified to City & Guilds/IMI NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum and have a UK driving licence with minimal points. Overall, you will be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.What's in it for you?
