Are you an experienced Food Technology teacher or Catering teacher looking for work in Bristol?
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic Food teacher to join an OFSTED 'GOOD' Secondary Academy in Bristol. This fantastic opportunity is starting in ASAP up until the end of the academic year! This part time Food Technology Teacher role requires someone 2 days per week (Mondays and Fridays) on a long term basis. Full duties will be expected to be taken on such as planning and marking. The timetable is very light so you would be expected to undertake general cover lessons also. This popular secondary school in Bristol is looking for a Food teacher or catering teacher who is happy to teach across KS3 & KS4. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
The school is a large and well-established school with great facilities for cookery lessons. They offer lots of CPD and career progression to each and every one of their staff members. It is a large school with plenty of on-site parking and on a good bus route! The senior leadership team are extremely passionate about making a difference to their student's education, but also about supporting their staff to be the best teachers they can be!
To join us and be successful in this role as a Food Teacher you will need to:* Hold QTS status or equivalent DT/Food Technology/Cookery teaching qualification or proven experience* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks* CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible* Legal right to work in the UK
