Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, deliver, and develop teaching/learning programmes using a diverse range of strategies and learning styles.
- Take responsibility for the quality of teaching and related curriculum development to meet learner needs.
- Assess learners' progress in College or during work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the college's success.
- Promote a culture focused on growth, purpose, and a sense of belonging, enabling students to make outstanding progress and achieve their aspirational goals.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE.
- A degree in Health and Social Care or relevant industry experience.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding lessons.
- Experience working with SEND students is highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of the Health and Social Care curriculum and related topics.
- Strong commitment to academic and pastoral excellence.
- Ability to inspire students and communicate knowledge with enthusiasm.
- Competitive salary range of £32,178 to £49,725 per annum.
