Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a financial services business in Bristol on the recruitment of a Payroll Team Leader to join them on a full time and permanent basis.
Having recently gone through an acquisition, and with significant growth on the horizon this year, this role will play a pivotal role in the data reconciliation and processing of the payroll.
Our client is based in the North Somerset area, where they will require you on site in the office for 1 day per week.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Team Leader will include but not be limited to:
- Overseeing all payroll processing for a high volume of clients.
- Ensuring accurate pension payments and resolving all client issues promptly.
- Registering new PAYE schemes with HMRC, handling rebates and reconciling monthly payments.
- Monitoring team performance and effectively delegating workload out.
- Addressing all client queries and assisting with tax related inquires.
- Mentor team members, supporting their growth and development.
Your Profile:
- Strong proven experience managing a large payroll.
- Previous team leader experience is highly desirable, but we are also open to candidates who are looking to step up into a supervisor/team leader role.
- Experience working in a payroll provider would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
- Ability to work well in a high volume, fast paced environment at a time of change.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £35-45k dependant on experience plus benefits.
