Based in Avonmouth - Bristol, Plant-Ex ingredients in an international company specialising in the manufacture of Natural Food Ingredient Solutions, supplying across the globe either directly through our own facilities or through a number of selected distribution partners.

We specialise in spray drying food colourings and flavours as well as production of liquid food colours, flavours and extracts.

Due to an ever expanding organisation and additional warehouse space - We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Warehouse/Goods-In Operative.

The ideal candidate will have a full clean driving licence and FLT Counterbalance Licence. A Reach-truck or further FLT licence would be an advantage.

Working closely with the existing Senior RM Operative to ensure the required and expected needs of the department are met along with your direct reports.

You will be responsible for the performance and development of the RM Warehouse Operatives & Van Driver/Warehouse Operative.

Duties & Responsibilities include:-Goods In/Intake -

  • Offload of goods at different company warehouses.
  • Carry out all relevant checks on the goods - book in, label and store where required. (working alongside the dispatch administrator for booking in).
  • Pre-alert QC department if existing batch or sample required.
  • Movement of stock once processed by QC, label as awaiting chems or passed then store in relevant racking.

Unit 23 & 6B Warehouse -

  • Supervise and assist with the flow of goods into and out of all units in different locations.
  • Upkeep to Plant-Ex housekeeping standards.
  • Maintaining Compliance to safe storage following correct protocols for flammable, toxic & corrosive.

Raw Material Picking -

  • To ensure all raw materials are prepped and ready for transfer in-line with the production plan.
  • To follow and upkeep the Plant-Ex standards for a food prep area.
  • Maintaining compliance at all times with the standard operating procedures in place.

40 hours per week, Day shift, Monday to Friday working hours 09.00 - 17.30.
