- Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 based on experience, plus daily shift allowance (£9.90 for late shifts & £7.98 for early shifts)
Reed is representing a client in Bristol, Severn Beach, who is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative. This role is crucial for efficiently handling and processing customer commodities within specified timeframes. We are looking for someone who is physically fit, adheres to health and safety regulations, and maintains excellent timekeeping across varied shift patterns.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle and process customer commodities within the specified timeframes.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet company goals.
- Adhere to all health and safety legislation and company policies.
- Ensure all special instructions noted on paperwork are carried out accurately.
- Complete all required documentation thoroughly and in accordance with company requirements.
- Utilise warehouse scanning systems to track and manage inventory.
- Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of the warehouse operations.
- Physically handle loose cargo as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid FLT licence.
- ADR/Hazardous awareness is preferable but not mandatory.
- Proven warehouse experience.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Ability to provide a 5-year work history.
- CRB check may be required.
- Basic computer or Android device knowledge.
