gap personnel Bristol are acting as an employment business are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative for our client, based in Avonmouth, BS11 As a Warehouse Operative you will join a team where you will become a key and valued member providing support.
Whilst experience can be a benefit, the site offer full training.
This is a temporary to permanent postion for th right candidate.Â
Job Responsibilities:
- Safe loading and unloading of stock from delivery vehicles within hub
- Efficiently organizing loads into delivery routes, utilizing scanning procedures when required
- Ensuring load security and communicating load conditions to drivers, including necessary paperwork production
- General warehouse duties
- Following correct health & safety measures for the site
The Candidate:
- Knowledge of similar working environment
- Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves walking, standing, lifting, and stretching, with occasional heavy lifting requirements
- Effective communication skills, along with basic numeracy and literacy, are fundamental, as is a high level of common sense, integrity, and honesty
- Proven accuracy and efficiency in your work
- Consistently produce the highest standards of work
