Alecto are working with a market-leading water treatment service provider based in the South, who are looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer in the Bristol area.
With over 12 years expertise in specialist engineering and compliance services, the company is known for their excellence in swimming pool plant engineering and legionella compliance, with an impressive portfolio of clients across the South and South West area.
The Role:
As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of Legionella water hygiene. Your responsibilities will include legionella water hygiene PPM works, maintaining accurate documentation, and building strong relationships with valued customers. Not only will you deliver outstanding water treatment services, but you'll also provide valuable recommendations and solutions for remedial works.
Key Duties:
- Field based covering an area of Bristol, Bath, Yate, Newport
- Legionella water hygiene PPM works and maintaining site-based water hygiene logbooks
- Ensure service requirements are delivered and maintained across all areas of water treatment
- Inform clients of proposed service visits and conduct on-site visits
- Perform water hygiene monitoring tasks including;
- Hot and Cold outlet temperature monitoring
- Water heater flow and return temperature monitoring and internal inspection
- TMV calibration and fail safe testing
- Shower head descaling
- Microbiological sampling and completion of sample submission sheets
- Cold water storage tank inspection
- Closed system analytical testing
- Swimming pool balance water tests and plant inspections
