Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Manager or Regional Maintenance Manager, you will:

  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance across all plant systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on complex machinery and equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).


Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • A minimum of Level 3 BTEC or NVQ in a mechanical or electrical discipline (or equivalent).
  • A completed apprenticeship in engineering.
  • Significant experience in heavy industry or process-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and regulatory standards.
  • Strong fault-finding skills on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Either a mechanical or electrical bias.
