Astute's Power team is exclusively partnering with a leading energy provider to recruit a Maintenance Technician to work at their recycling facility in Avonmouth.
This Maintenance Technician role comes with a base salary of 46,500 + benefits and shift allowance.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Manager or Regional Maintenance Manager, you will:
- Perform reactive and planned maintenance across all plant systems.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on complex machinery and equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and safety.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A minimum of Level 3 BTEC or NVQ in a mechanical or electrical discipline (or equivalent).
- A completed apprenticeship in engineering.
- Significant experience in heavy industry or process-driven environments.
- Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and regulatory standards.
- Strong fault-finding skills on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Either a mechanical or electrical bias.
