We are currently working with a leading food business that prides itself on being the EU market leader for their product and has demonstrated continuous growth.
This role has come about due to the progression of the General Manager into a group role, a marker of the business's success and personal growth for those who strive for success.
As the company has a strong presence in the food industry, experience working with various UK retailers and familiarity with their requirements will prove extremely beneficial.
To be successful in this role you will need a good understanding of the Food industry across Growing, Operations, Engineering, Technical and other functions. A strong background in the development and performance management of your team of reports will be crucial as well as hands-on experience in CI and Lean manufacturing to improve efficiencies, reduce waste and minimise downtime whilst maintaining product quality. Managing all aspects of health and safety with support from the group Health and Safety will require a focused and proactive approach.
