Roles and Responsibilties
- Technical Author (MEWSIC)
- The Author shall be required to originate data that conforms to ASD-S1000D Issue 4.1.
- The Author must be conversant with XML and XML editing tools.
- The Author will be required to review 3D CAD data and read 2D Engineering Drawings and convert this data into high quality Data Modules.
- The Author will be expected to understand the DMRL and manage the SNS to originate the data.
- The Author must be conversant with managing data in a CSDB environment.

Qualifications and experience required:
- Strong Technical Writing Skills
- Proficiency in XML
- Understanding/working knwoledge of ASD-S1000D
- Ability to interpret complex Engineering Data
- Understanding mechanical or electronic designs(3D & 2D CAD).
