Roles and Responsibilties

  • Technical Author (MEWSIC)
  • The Author shall be required to originate data that conforms to ASD-S1000D Issue 4.1.
  • The Author must be conversant with XML and XML editing tools.
  • The Author will be required to review 3D CAD data and read 2D Engineering Drawings and convert this data into high quality Data Modules.
  • The Author will be expected to understand the DMRL and manage the SNS to originate the data.
  • The Author must be conversant with managing data in a CSDB environment.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Strong Technical Writing Skills
  • Proficiency in XML
  • Understanding/working knwoledge of ASD-S1000D
  • Ability to interpret complex Engineering Data
  • Understanding mechanical or electronic designs(3D & 2D CAD).
