Our client has a reputation in the field for tackling highly complex analytical studies that require extensive industry expertise to solve. Working for over 65 years in the aquatic, ecotoxicology, and environmental fate industries, they support their clients in understanding the lifecycle of chemicals in the environment and impact on the ecosystem.

Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking an accomplished Scientist to join their growing Environmental Fate department. This state-of-the-art laboratory is well-equipped with the latest instrumentation to support challenging GLP regulated projects across the industry. Working with a range of analytical instrumentation such as LSC, radio-HPLC and radio-TLC, you will identify and analyse radiochemicals (including 14C and 3H) within a variety of complex sample matrices, as well as performing extraction techniques such as SPE, LLE and QuEChERS.

In addition to this, you will also be trained as Study Director to plan and monitor GLP regulated sponsor studies.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have:

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Chemistry/Environmental Sciences or closely related.
  • At least 12 months experience within an Environmental Fate laboratory running OECD studies.
  • Excellent communication skills in order to build and foster strong relationships with clients.
