The ideal candidate must have experience in property maintenance and Health & Safety, as well as being highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while ensuring full compliance with BS 7671:2018+A3:2024 (IET Wiring Regulations).
- Design and execute electrical installations in adherence to the latest 18th edition regulations and amendments.
- Inspect domestic and commercial electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.
- Diagnose faults, identify solutions, and ensure a safe and effective installation of electrical components.
- Provide professional assessments and expert advice for clients regarding electrical safety and compliance.
- Support the plumber, carpenters, and other maintenance operatives when required.
ROLE PROFILE
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified electrician.
- Hold a current qualification that aligns with BS 7671:2018+A3:2024 regulations (e.g., Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations).
- Strong ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, building plans, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to Continuous Professional Development to stay updated with evolving regulations and electrical industry standards.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full clean driving license.
