Early Years Teaching Assistant | Mainstream & SEN Provision | Brixton, SW9 | Immediate Start | 95 - 105 per day

Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brixton (SW9). This role is ideal for a compassionate and experienced TA looking to work in both mainstream and SEN settings, supporting children with Autism and ADHD on a one-to-one basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Early Years team and SENCo, implementing targeted support strategies to ensure children receive the best possible start to their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 tailored support for children with Autism and ADHD in the Early Years setting
  • Support both mainstream and SEN provisions, helping students engage in learning and social activities
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Use a range of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour management
  • Create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Help with small group interventions designed to develop children's confidence and independence

Candidate Criteria:

  • Experience working in an Early Years setting, particularly with SEN children
  • Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, and early childhood development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and staff
  • A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting young learners
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or Teaching Assistance (desirable)
