Job Description: PPD Chemist
Location: Brixworth , Northampton.
Duration: Permanent
Salary : Competitive
Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5pm

Job Purpose:
You will work in the R&D team, responsible for testing and evaluating fragrances in consumer products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
路 Conduct stability tests on fragrances and raw materials.
路 Maintain daily records of tests and enter data into internal systems.
路 Prepare product bases (up to 10kg) for testing.
路 Monitor stock of formulations and ingredients.
路 Develop new personal care formulas and update in-house libraries.
路 Perform various tests like UV, panel, and viscosity testing.
路 Prepare finished product samples.
路 Cover responsibilities during staff absences.
Skills and Qualifications:
路 Degree in Cosmetic Science or a Chemistry-related field.
路 At least 2 years of experience in an FMCG development lab.
路 Knowledge in personal care formulation is preferred.
路 Strong problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.
路 Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal data systems.
路 Interest in the fragrance industry is advantageous.
