Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced CNC 5-Axis Miller Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens controls and a deep understanding of working with tight tolerances (1-2 microns) across various materials, including 316, Duplex, Super Duplex, and Titanium. This role involves batch work (10-100 pieces) and offers an exciting opportunity to work with a DMU 75 Mono Block machine.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- Program and operate Siemens controlled 5th axis machines.
- Work to tight tolerances, with a focus on precision (1-2 microns).
- Handle materials such as 316 stainless steel, Duplex, Super Duplex, Titanium, and more.
- Perform batch work, typically producing 10-100 pieces.
- Read and interpret 2D technical drawings.
- Inspect your own work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Proven experience with 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- Strong ability to read and understand 2D technical drawings.
- Ability to inspect and measure your own work.
- Knowledge of Siemens controls.
- Experience working with high-performance materials.
- Previous experience with batch production work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
