Job Description:
They are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the planning and design of residential projects, contributing your skills and creativity to bring their visions to life. Your duties will include:
- Drawing Up House Types: Develop detailed and accurate architectural drawings for various house types, ensuring compliance with design standards and client requirements.
- Creating Street Scenes: Produce visually appealing street scenes that illustrate the overall aesthetic and layout of residential developments.
- Drawing up Elevations: Generate precise and compelling elevation drawings that showcase the exterior design of buildings.
- Colouring Site Layouts: Apply your artistic skills to color site layouts, enhancing the presentation of our projects for planning applications and client presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior members of the team in the preparation of planning applications.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency and accuracy in all drawings and plans.
- Use industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, etc.) to create and modify drawings.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute creative ideas to improve project outcomes.
- Ensure all work meets the regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCADand Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
- Excellent visualisation and graphical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative flair and a passion for residential design.
