Solar PV Electrician
47k-52k Base Salary (Fully Employed) + Company Van / Fuel Card + Pension.
Location - Southampton / Hampshire
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and Qualified Electrician to join an established and leading specialist within the Solar PV and Renewable Energy industry.
Our client are involved in the design, installation and maintenance of Solar PV projects throughout both residential and commercial properties. Dealing mainly with high-end customers.
To be considered you'll need to live within an hour commute of Southampton.
Job Summary:
- Working as a mobile electrician and Solar PV installation Engineer.
- Responsible for the electrical installation of Solar PV systems, Battery Storage and EV systems.
- You'll be working on both domestic high-end projects and also large scale commercial projects.
- The position is full-time, fully employed Monday to Friday. Hours of 8am - 4pm on site.
- Majority of work is south of Birmingham but can sometimes be further afield therefore you will need to be prepared for some travel and with potentially some staying away from home at times.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- You'll need to be a Fully Qualified Electrician.
- Ideally NVQ Level 3 qualified and AM2.
- 18th Edition qualified electrician.
- 2391 Testing and Inspect is preferred - however not essential.
- Solar PV installation experience is highly desirable.
- You'll need to live within an hour radius of Eastleigh / Southampton.
