Location: Broadstairs, Kent

Employment Type: Temporary

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00-14:00

Hourly Pay: 11.44

About the Role: We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in Broadstairs. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that all products meet exact specifications and high-quality standards as they leave our factory.

The successful candidate will handle various production tasks, maintain strict quality checks, and support the team in maintaining smooth operations. This position requires good physical stamina and manual dexterity, as it involves tasks that require standing, lifting, and precision.

This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture products to precise specifications, upholding high-quality standards.
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately and dispatched in accordance with promised delivery dates
  • Perform quality checks on stock and profiles, reporting any shortages or defects to the supervisor.
  • Communicate order progress, and alert management to any potential issues or delays.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, especially with new system introductions.
  • Participate in scheduled stock counts.
  • Utilise manual skills and strength for standing and lifting tasks.
  • Apply good numeracy and basic IT skills for data entry and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities.
  • Physical Stamina and Dexterity: Ability to perform manual tasks and sustain physical activity.

Note: A numeracy and literacy test will be required for candidates who pass the interview stage.
