Secondary Maths Teacher - Thanet
Academics' Canterbury branch have been approached by a secondary school in Thanet, Kent to support them in sourcing a Teacher of Maths to start on the 22nd April 2025. They are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to deliver Key Stage 3 and 4 maths. The school are offering a long-term contract which may turn permanent.

Role Description:
- Delivering high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
- Planning and implementing engaging and challenging lessons
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Providing timely feedback and support to students
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop the Maths curriculum
- Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Excellent knowledge of the Maths curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passionate about helping students succeed
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Contract Details:
- Long-term contract position
