Salary: 28,000 - 43,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Thanet. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students, foster a love for science, and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers) who are eager to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons tailored to a range of abilities.

Teach Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress to ensure all learners achieve their full potential.

Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum.

Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

A degree in a science-related field.

Experience teaching science at secondary level (KS3/KS4); experience with KS5 is desirable but not essential.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
