We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Broadstairs, supporting children within a Specialist Resourced Provision or Early Years Provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with SEN in a Specialist Resourced Provision or Early Years setting.

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups, providing tailored support to meet individual learning needs.

  • Help to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

  • Assist the classroom teacher with the delivery of lesson plans and adapting activities to suit SEN children.

  • Support with behaviour management, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

  • Foster emotional and social development in children with SEN.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working with children with SEN in either a primary or early years setting.

  • Must have an up-to-date DBS on the Update Service.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage children in learning.

  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.

  • A positive attitude and willingness to support a diverse range of needs.
