Quality Engineer

Our client are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the skills to oversee quality operations and ensure compliance with customer requirements throughout the project life cycle. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for conducting audits, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and managing quality documentation.

Responsibilities as Quality Engineer

  • Prepare for running and acceptance activities, including First Article Acceptance
  • Undertake quality investigations and lessons learned
  • Conduct internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance with procedures
  • Update project quality documentation throughout the life cycle
  • Interpret electronic data to verify configuration status
  • Carry out audits as required by contract or otherwise directed
  • Focus on continuous improvement and identify opportunities for efficiency
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers
  • Take pride in maintaining high attention to detail


Qualifications as Quality Engineer

  • Clear understanding of customer contract and technical requirements
  • Quality Assurance qualifications
  • Ability to read drawings, wiring schedules, and product specifications
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Positive, tenacious attitude with a focus on cost management
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Experience in conducting in-house audits and supplier management
