Our client seeks a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations and lead a dynamic team in a demanding manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production and experience in leading teams, with a preference for candidates from an engineering or manufacturing background.
Responsibilities as Production Team Leader
- Support the day-to-day delivery of work, ensuring quality and training are upheld
- Act as the first line of support for the team, addressing any problems or issues that arise
- Work closely with production operatives and supervisors to meet deadlines and goals
- Assist the production supervisor in making improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and processes
- Manage labor and machines to ensure all priority needs are met
- Involve in quality control procedures as required
- Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and leadership to motivate and support the team
Qualifications and Experience as Team Leader
- Prior experience in a production environment, ideally with a background in engineering or manufacturing
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams
- Strong mechanical dexterity and a flexible approach
- Approachable with excellent communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively
