A superb permanent Site Manager role has come to fruition for a Dorset based contractor covering small works and main works based from their offices near Broadstone.
In a typical week you will:
- Manage the day to day running of a construction site.
- Manage Health, Safety and Environment matters on site.
- Manage direct labour.
- Manage subcontractors.
- Order/call off materials.
- Liaise with Client team.
- Carry out short term programming.
- Prepare and manage RFIs and CSIs.
- Site document management.
- Manage Temporary Works on site.
- Manage and ensure high quality build and finish.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record for delivering projects on time, to cost and meeting quality criteria.
- Have significant experience at senior site management level.
- Have excellent building knowledge, planning and organisational skills.
- Have extensive experience in dealing with client’s, professional teams, subcontractors and a directly employed workforce.
- Experienced in working in live environments, such as schools and hospitals.
- Be dynamic, innovative and able to work on one’s own initiative.
- A strong communicator and team player that can demonstrate excellent motivational and communication skills.
- CIOB / HND Construction related qualifications would be advantageous.
- Hold relevant training certificates including valid SMSTS and First Aid.
- Be IT competent.
