A superb permanent Site Manager role has come to fruition for a Dorset based contractor covering small works and main works based from their offices near Broadstone.

In a typical week you will:

  • Manage the day to day running of a construction site.
  • Manage Health, Safety and Environment matters on site.
  • Manage direct labour.
  • Manage subcontractors.
  • Order/call off materials.
  • Liaise with Client team.
  • Carry out short term programming.
  • Prepare and manage RFIs and CSIs.
  • Site document management.
  • Manage Temporary Works on site.
  • Manage and ensure high quality build and finish.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record for delivering projects on time, to cost and meeting quality criteria.
  • Have significant experience at senior site management level.
  • Have excellent building knowledge, planning and organisational skills.
  • Have extensive experience in dealing with client’s, professional teams, subcontractors and a directly employed workforce.
  • Experienced in working in live environments, such as schools and hospitals.
  • Be dynamic, innovative and able to work on one’s own initiative.
  • A strong communicator and team player that can demonstrate excellent motivational and communication skills.
  • CIOB / HND Construction related qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Hold relevant training certificates including valid SMSTS and First Aid.
  • Be IT competent.
