Hours: Days (Full-time, Monday to Friday)

Role Overview:
As an R&D and Projects Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development of new products and innovations, as well as leading and managing a range of engineering projects from concept to completion. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality, while ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research and development activities for new product concepts and improvements to existing products.
- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery in line with customer specifications and business goals.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Conduct product testing, analyze results, and recommend design modifications as necessary.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress to meet deadlines.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
- Maintain compliance with relevant standards and regulations, ensuring high levels of quality and safety.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies to bring innovative solutions to the company.
Skills and Experience:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in R&D and project engineering within a manufacturing or OEM environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in CAD software and engineering design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
