Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8 AM 5 PM, with some earlier starts and late finishes depending on job location. Overnight stays are required for certain jobs, and travel across Europe may require multiple nights away.

A valid driving license is required. Experience driving a van is preferred, and an HGV license is advantageous.

The primary focus of this role is removals rather than driving. Duties include handling house removals within the UK and internationally, packing and shipping items worldwide, and working in warehousing and storage operations. The role also involves UK collections and multi-drop deliveries. Candidates must be physically fit as the job requires moving large furniture. Attention to detail is essential, especially when handling high-value items such as expensive artwork.

The hourly rate is £13.50 - £15 per hour. Overtime is paid at time and a third. An overnight bonus is provided for jobs requiring overnight stays. Food and accommodation are covered while traveling. Higher rates apply for jobs outside the UK, making this a lucrative role for those who are flexible and willing to commit to the hours required. Drivers receive an increased hourly rate, and performance and attendance bonuses are available.
