ML38- Assistant Restaurant and Bar ManagerSalary: Up to £31,408Location: BroadwayOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager on behalf of one of our clients.Working in a 4 AA Red Star property featuring a remarkable seafood restaurant.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To support superb hospitality at every moment to guests.
  • Working within a busy restaurant and bar.
  • Ensuring guests’ every need is taken care of, every moment of their stay. Serving food and drinks.
  • Co-ordinating the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
  • Managing staff.
  • Responding to customer complaints.
  • Training and motivating staff.
  • To be constantly aware of health & safety issues and report risks.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene and health & safety.
  • Organising rotas and records for bar and back of house areas.
  • Checking stock levels and ordering supplies.
  • Helping in any area of the bar / restaurant when circumstances dictate.
  • Attend meetings as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Has proven management experience within a quality food and drink setting.
  • Is confident in managing a team, and able to bring enthusiasm to the role. Confident in hosting guests. Warm, welcoming and genuinely hospitable. Ability to consistently offer a five star level service, to exceed expectations and delight guests. Excellent communication skills.
  • Due to the rural location, you will require your own transport.
