About the Hotel
Part of an independent hotel group, our charming and historic hotel has a strong reputation for quality service. The hotel is on an exciting journey to enhance its standards and service, working towards a 4-star rating and aiming to elevate its 1 AA Rosette restaurant to 2 Rosettes.
The Role
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional service in both the hotel restaurant and pub. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and senior team, you will lead by example, mentor staff, and maintain high standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Excellence: Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high levels of service and guest satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Support and motivate front-of-house staff, leading by example and providing training to enhance skills.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and a high-quality dining experience.
- Wine & Beverage Knowledge: Assist in curating an exceptional wine list and beverage offering to complement the menu.
- Operational Support: Maintain smooth coordination between the restaurant and pub, ensuring consistency in service.
