Driver Hire Southampton is growing, and we're looking for reliable Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team and work with a prestigious new client near the Southampton area.
Role Overview:
As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you'll play an essential role in keeping the community clean by collecting waste along a set route. This position involves driving a Class 2 vehicle and performing physical tasks, including lifting bin bags into the dustcart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Start your shift between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday
- Complete 8-hour shifts
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle
- Complete a training induction with our client to ensure you're fully equipped for the role
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK Class 2 Driving Licence
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card
- Own transport for commuting
- Both experienced drivers and newly qualified drivers welcome
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
