Position: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Gloucester

Position: Permanent

Working hours: 39 hours Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday) 7:15 am to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 7:15 am to 13:15 on Friday

Salary: £31000

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful Engineering company that are offering a stable and lucrative career in their purpose build manufacturing facility. They require Mechanical Fitters, to join their growing team

The appropriate mechanical fitter would be responsible for:

Bespoke build of automation machineries, following technical engineering drawings

Assembling parts made from metals or other materials to create production equipment and machinery

Building assemblies and sub-assemblies

Build of pneumatic and hydraulics system.

Requirement:

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Previous mechanical engineering experience and competence in mechanical fitting, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.

A good understanding of mechanical drawings and schematics

A desire to be part of a highly motivated team

Hard working

The knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting from a production or engineering type background is essential and the ability to interpret basic drawings is required
