Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of an established Engineering Manufacturing client who are actively seeking a Workshop Supervisor/Leader on a Full Time basis.

An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to manage the day to day running of our client Precision Engineering machine shop.

The role will include:

  • Setting, operating and programming multi-axis machining centre
  • Complete multi-tool set ups
  • Manual checks of components
  • Compliance to all technical documentation
  • Milling & Turning work to a high standard
  • Prioritising jobs based on delivery dates and the needs of the business


In order to apply, you will have:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in leadership in a similar role with manufacturing/engineering knowledge
  • Five years plus experience as a CNC setter/operator/programmer
  • Experience in Fanuc programming and general knowledge of G & M codes
  • Able to read technical drawings and produce work to drawing specifications
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience on lathe and milling machines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team
  • Exceptional time management with the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • The ability to think on your feet
  • Good Estimator (time and materials)
