Bennett & Game are delighted to be partnering a growing accountancy practice in Bromley, as they recruit for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This isn't your normal senior accountant position, but more one where you will play an integral role to the development of the practice. The practice is looking to grow, and is therefore looking for an experienced accountant who can take on a lot of the partners responsibilities.
The successful candidate will oversee a small team of juniors, oversee circa 250 tax returns, and 100 limited company accounts. There is clear routes of progression throughout the spine of this company. It is a great opportunity to be a part of a growing environment, and play an integral role in the practice's development
Senior Accountant Job Overview- Oversee the preparation of financial statements for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Circa 100 limited company accounts
- Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, for circa 250 companies
- Advising clients of tax planning opportunities
- Manage client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for queries and financial guidance
- Supervise and mentor a small team of juniors
- Identify areas for process improvements within the firm to enhance efficiency and client service
- ACA or ACCA qualified is preferred. QBE is also welcomed
- Over 5 years experience working in accountancy practice
- Experience in managing a portfolio of clients, and overseeing a team of juniors
- Experience in accounts and tax prep, review and finalisation
- Dynamic individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Able to commute to Bromley
- No requirement for visa sponsorship
- Competitive salary dependant on experience, ranging from £40-50k
