Job Summary:Bromley Council is seeking a Business Support Officer to provide crucial administrative support for a period of short-term sickness cover. This is an in-office role that will require excellent organisational and communication skills to support key Public Health teams, manage meetings, take minutes, and ensure the smooth running of various events and outreach projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and manage meetings from start to finish
  • Take accurate minutes and ensure timely distribution
  • Support with event organisation and coordination of outreach projects
  • Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets for data tracking
  • Provide general administrative support to various teams within the department
  • Manage diaries and schedule meetings with key stakeholders
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as required by senior team members

Requirements:

  • Strong minute-taking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in event coordination and project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Previous administrative or clerical experience is essential
  • Ability to work in an office-based role, Monday to Friday
