Job Title: Lead Employability Lecturer

Grade: MPS/UPS plus TLR 2

We are working with a fantastic SEND college who are looking for an experienced Lead Employability Lecturer to deliver high-quality employability education and careers guidance. In this role, you will plan and deliver tutorials on topics such as workplace communication, job applications, functional skills, and personal development. You will support students in securing industry placements and work closely with employers to provide meaningful work experience opportunities.

Key duties include:

  • Delivering impactful employability sessions for individuals and groups.
  • Providing careers guidance and supporting work placement preparation.
  • Collaborating with employers, curriculum teams, and therapists to enhance the learning experience.
  • Managing a team of support staff and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Promoting students' personal development and ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met.

You will be line-managed by the College Principal and work as part of a collaborative team. The role offers a chance to make a real impact on students' progress towards employment.
