About Us:Our client is a leading organisation in the financial services sector, specialising in Global Collateral Operations and Exchange Traded Derivatives Operations. With a global team of over 500 professionals across 16 cities in 8 countries, we are dedicated to reducing counterparty credit risk and providing exceptional support for a broad range of clients, including hedge funds, market makers, and investment banks.

Role Overview:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Business Analyst to join our Global Collateral Operations & Exchange Traded Derivatives Operations Shared Services team. This pivotal role involves acting as a central resource to support various functions, including Regulatory Compliance, New Client Onboarding, and Account Control. You will work closely with multiple teams across Global Collateral Operations, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing the new Shared Services operating model to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct due diligence on New Product Review and Non-Standard business requests to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry mandates across 15 legal entities.
  • Research and resolve issues within the line of business, providing day-to-day analysis and problem-solving.
  • Identify methods to improve processes, reduce risks, and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to diverse product lines.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects related to new processes or industry initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience in reconciling data sets and conducting data mining to identify key data points.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask effectively.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt on the job.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ownership of process improvements.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a desire to understand and drive operational processes.
  • Previous experience in a Shared Services team, particularly in Regulatory & Metrics Reporting and familiarity with Tableau, is preferred.
