Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? We are currently recruiting for a MASH Team Manager within a Children and Families Hub who are looking for a dedicated individual to join the team.

Your new role
You will be managing a team of Social Workers, within a MASH team with the core function of the Hub to screen referrals to assess both early help requests and safeguarding concerns. You will be using a range of screening tools to carefully explore the needs and risks presented in each case, ultimately identifying the most appropriate and effective support for families in need. You will be working closely with a wide range of core partners within the Hub, including, Police, Health, Education, Youth Justice service and IDVA Investigators.


What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have experience in managing/working in social work settings (MASH, Referral and Assessment, Safeguarding Teams)
  • A clear understanding of thresholds
  • Good experience of working and maintaining healthy relationships with partner agencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of working systemically and restoring best social work practices
  • Proficiency with IT systems and recording information on social care systems
  • Experience in managing complex cases (Senior/Advanced Practitioners considered)
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Social Work England Registered
