  • This is a great opportunity for a Trainee IT Sales Executive to join a leading business in the IT sector and grow within the company.

Our client, a leading business in the Technology sector is seeking a Trainee IT Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth and expansion our client is looking to add a Trainee IT Sales Executive

to their team, working closely with the Account Managers within the business in order to build and maintain relationships with new clients, whilst booking meetings for the Account Managers in order to increase revenue for the business.

The ideal candidate does not necessarily need previous IT or Technology sales experience however the successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ B2B sales experience or from a similar background.

Key Responsibilities:

- Make outbound calls to potential new clients

- Book meetings and appointments for Account Managers

- Look for new business leads for specific fields and vendors

- Attend industry events and webinars

- Build and maintain industry relationships with new and existing clients

- Maintain industry and product knowledge

- Work in a target-driven environment, liaising with the Sales Manager to report activity

Key Experience:

- A minimum of 1 years’ B2B sales experience is key

- IT experience or technical knowledge would be advantageous although not essential

- Maintain excellent relationships with clients

- Strong communication, confident making outbound calls to potential clients and customers

- Confident working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

- Driven and motivated candidate who thrives off a sales environment
