Join our forward-thinking social work practice in Bromley, where we focus on providing exceptional support to children in care, ensuring their successful transition into adulthood. We are looking for a registered Team Manager to lead our dedicated team, fostering a collaborative environment that integrates services from various sectors.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the Leaving Care Service, which includes 4 teams, each with two Social Workers and three Young Person Advisors.
  • Maintain low caseloads to ensure a strong focus on building effective relationships.
  • Implement our successful group supervision programme and trauma training for all staff.
  • Ensure the integration of young people’s voices and ideas in service delivery and design.
  • Collaborate with external agencies such as Police, Health, Education, Probation, Housing, and more to provide comprehensive support to young people.
  • Support the team with specialist roles focusing on mental health and Education, Training, and Employment (ETE) interventions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Registration as a Team Manager in social work.
  • Proven experience in leadership within child social care settings.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by children in care and a passion for improving their outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and external agencies.
