Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is assisting a well-established, and highly regarded glazing company (based in Bromley, Kent) in their search for a skilled and motivated Glazing Manager. This is an exciting, primarily office based role with occasional visits to client sites.

With a reputation for excellence, this company specialises in commercial and residential glazing solutions, whilst delivering outstanding craftsmanship and customer service. Here, you will be responsible for overseeing operations, managing projects, scheduling works and resources whilst liaising with every stakeholder throughout each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all glazing operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Manage and motivate a team of glaziers and installers, providing leadership and technical support
  • Plan and coordinate projects, from initial client consultation to final installation and aftercare
  • Review site surveys and liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Monitor health and safety compliance, ensuring a safe working environment at all times
  • Manage stock levels, ordering materials as required and negotiating with suppliers for the best pricing
  • Handle customer queries, resolving any issues efficiently to maintain excellent client relationships
  • Work closely with senior management to drive business growth and operational improvements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the glazing / construction industry, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques, materials, and industry regulations
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
  • Experience with project management, budgeting, and scheduling
  • A commitment to health and safety best practices (RAMS and Risk Assessments)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
