Work Experience Advisor and Assessor – Early YearsWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Work Experience (WEX) Advisor and Assessor to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis at Bromley Campus. This role focuses on sourcing high-quality work placements and supporting Early Years Study Programme students to achieve their career aspirations and course requirements.Key Details:
  • Location: Bromley 
  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract End Date: 31/03/2025
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams to meet work placement requirements and develop further opportunities.
  • Identify and secure work placements, leveraging employer relationships to maximize opportunities.
  • Generate employer leads through telesales, networking events, social media, and advertising campaigns.
  • Support T Level students in sourcing placements and conducting required observations.
  • Conduct assessments in line with qualification standards.
  • Assist in establishing sector-specific employer advisory boards to guide employability outcomes.
  • Complete required Health and Safety checks with employers, adhering to College policies.
What We’re Looking For:Qualifications:
  • Level 3 or above in the childcare sector (essential).
  • Assessor award (desirable).
  • Level 2 English and Maths (essential).
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Understanding of work placements (essential).
  • Knowledge of government-funded training and T Levels in the FE sector (desirable).
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to plan and manage workloads, achieve targets, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills with clients (existing, lapsed, and new).
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Excel for data reporting.
  • Skills in generating sales appointments and offering information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to students.
