Monterey Insight is a leading independent fund industry research company that provides the only comprehensive report of service providers for all investment funds serviced in the UK, Luxembourg, Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Based in London, the company's research covers around 37,000 investment funds within these jurisdictions.
Join their expanding company and become a valued member of their friendly UK team in London -Bromley. As part of the Research team, you will review investment fund data and assist in producing their annual fund publication. These reports are highly esteemed and serve as essential reference works on European fund centres, including Luxembourg, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, and the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Monterey Insight Fund Reports on time and to quality standards
- Liaise with external data service providers to ensure accurate data
- Manage and organise large amounts of data
- Manipulate and cleanse data from various sources, ensuring high accuracy
- Perform daily and weekly control checks, resolving any issues immediately
- Research and collect data to maintain database accuracy
- Contribute ideas to improve departmental systems and reports
- Support Sales & Marketing at events in London, Luxembourg, Ireland, Jersey, or Guernsey
Qualifications
Essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong research skills, including information acquisition via phone, internet, and email
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with various contacts
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Proactive and self-reliant
- Flexible and able to multitask
- Dedication, commitment and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
Desirable
- Knowledge of investment funds
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
- Strong mathematical skills
- Proficiency in another European language
