Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Bromley

Role OverviewAs a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students and teachers, helping to create an inclusive and productive learning environment. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education and a commitment to supporting young people.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting student learning
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional help
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs where required
- Work closely with teachers and other school staff to implement lesson plans and learning strategies
- Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as break times and school outings
- Previous experience working with children or young people (in a school or related setting)
- A valid DBS on the update service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient and proactive approach to working with students
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions from teaching staff
Pay will be dependent on experience.
