Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Lewisham, Southeast London (inner London), looking for a permanent Head of Business and Economics to lead the successful core curriculum area within the school and, as part of a core subject leadership team, across the Trust.

As a senior member of staff, the Head of Business and Economics will contribute to the overall leadership and management of the school and be active in promoting its aims and supporting an ethos that promotes academic achievement and outstanding teaching and learning.
You have excellent knowledge of Business and Economics GCSE Edexcel, A level Edexcel, OCR Enterprise and Marketing level 2 and BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business Pearson. You’ll act as a lead internal verifier for BTEC.
We are looking for an exceptional Business and Economics practitioner with QTS/QTLS who can use their experience, extensive subject knowledge, and vision to get the best from their team and deliver high quality outcomes for our students.
