What a role we have taken!!! We have just been given a great opportunity to recruit for one of the areas leading domiciliary care providers, currently rated OUTSTANDING with the CQC.

Due to expansion, they are looking for an exceptional candidate to join them as a Deputy Care Manager. We will consider good Deputy Manager's looking to move on or a senior Care Coordinator, making a step into care management.

Salary for the role is £35,000 - £45,000 + benefits and career development

The main duties;

  • To assist with Individual private care referrals from the Care Coordinators
  • In conjunction with the Registered Manager, to provide support to all staff members within the group
  • To ensure that quality care provision is always provided and strive to be the best!
  • To meet with the Director and Registered Manager on a regular basis and provide reports as required.
  • To assist the Registered Manager and In-house trainer with any managerial supervision, training and appraisals where necessary.
  • To assist the Registered Manager in monitoring the performance of all care staff and to assist in initiating appropriate action should standards fall below an acceptable level.
  • To assist the Registered Manager in ensuring that senior staff and staff receive on going advice and support to maintain the progressive development of the team.
  • To assist with senior team in resolving staff problems that may arise
  • To assist the Registered Manager when dealing with staff disciplinary matters up to and including dismissal.
  • To assist the Care Manager with ensuring that budgetary control is maintained, ensuring that maximum income is maintained and all expenditure is monitored and recorded.

In addition to the above, you may be requested to carry out any other tasks that maybe considered a reasonable request in line with the role of a Deputy Manager.

NVQ in Health and Social Care Level 3 mandatory, if you have Level 5 that will be an advantage
